  • Story Text: European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and European Council President Donald Tusk arrived at Chubu International Airport in Japan on Wednesday (May 25) ahead of the annual Group of Seven (G7) summit.
    Juncker and Tusk will join other world leaders from the U.S., U.K., Canada, Germany, Japan, Italy and France at the meeting.
    The leaders will examine potential risks to the global economy, and are expected to promote a combination of monetary, fiscal and structural policies to spur growth.
    Other expected summit topics include terrorism, refugees, trade, cyber security and maritime security.
