  • Story Text: The stars from British director Andrea Arnold's latest film 'American Honey' walked the red carpet in Cannes on Sunday (May 15) ahead of the Palme d'Or contender's premiere.
    The film's actors boogeyed their way down the red carpet with Arnold in tow, pausing to greet festival organizers Thierry Fremaux and Pierre Lescure.
    Arnold's fourth feature is a gritty drama that follows a group of teenagers travelling across the U.S. trying to make money selling magazine subscriptions.
    Amongst the mostly unknown cast is Shia LaBeouf.
    Speaking at the festival earlier in the day Arnold said the poverty she discovered while researching and shooting the film shocked her.
    'American Honey' is one of the 21 films in the running for the top prize in Cannes.
