SHAH: "We were so shocked by this question of hostages that I even volunteered to leave New York Hospital when I was under treatment to eventually help solve the problem. And this time too, in leaving the United States for this beautiful country, we hope that it will help solving this problem, so let's hope that it would be a help," The significance of the American decision not to impose economic sanctions lies, according to Reuters News Agency, in it's value as a gesture to the new President of Iran, who has made several moves since his installation which are seen in Washington as helpful to a solution. Mr. Bani Sadr accused the students of acting like a "government within a government and against Islam" after Information Minister Nasser Minachi was arrested on the strength of seized embassy documents alleging he had links with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.
