QUESTION: "How long do you hope to stay there?" STUDENT: "Well, we have 'phoned the Central Committee in Beirut and we are expecting from them an answer to all our questions and we're going to stay there until we shall receive such an answer." EMBASSY OFFICIAL: "In fact we were surprised when I opened the door and found a lot of them. As they are not doing any harm to our offices or to any documents of the embassy or even to the personnel of the embassy we did not think of getting them out by force." QUESTION: "Are you going to let them stay here indefinitely?" "Well, that depends on their behaviour." Initials LN/AW/BB Script is copyright Reuters Limited. All rights reserved
