- Story Text: Thailand's national football team members and their coach Milovan Rajevac attended the funeral of Leicester City's late-chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha on Monday (November 5) to pay their respects and condolences.
The 60-year-old Thai billionaire died on Oct. 27 with four others when his helicopter crashed next to Leicester's King Power Stadium. The seven-day funeral started on Saturday (November 3) in Bangkok.
Vichai bought Leicester City in 2010. The team went on to stun the soccer world by winning the Premier League title against the odds in 2016.
A British tourist, 55-year old John Terrell, who is a Manchester United fan, was on holiday in Thailand and visited the funeral pavilion to pay his respects at the temple. He added that he will be looking forward to the next Manchester United vs Leicester game. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
