- Story Text: A 20-year old girl, S Sugisha from India's southern Kerala state is set to float in water for 60 hours in a bid to get into World Record Books.
Sugisha began doing the act in a private swimming pool in southern Puducherry district of the state. During this period which will end at 9 pm on December 11, she would also undertake meditation.
Speaking to media persons, Rajendran, jury of the World Record Book for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry gave a brief of the attempt of the wonder girl.
"A girl Sugisha from Pondicherry has been doing the event 60 hours non-stop floating in the water. It's for global world records. It's created in India. I am witnessing this event stately.
After completion of this event successfully I will be forwarding all the materials to the global world records to make it successful," said Rajendran.
Meanwhile, Sugisha said that the attempt was her childhood ambition and she urged the people to support her.
"This is my childhood ambition. But I need your support to achieve this goal. So please support me," said Sugisha.
Sugisha also added that by undertaking this attempt she wanted to generate awareness among the people about the importance of yoga and meditation. - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
