Canadian Defence Minister Harjit Singh Sajjan met his Indian counterpart Arun Jaitley in New Delhi on Tuesday (April 18) as he began his six-day visit.
Canada's Indian-born minister is tasked with boosting defence and security ties.
The visiting minister also paid tribute to Indian soldiers killed during World War One, at the war memorial of India Gate in New Delhi, where he laid a wreath at 'Amar Jawan Jyoti' or flame of the immortal soldier.
