- Story Text: The iconic German soccer club, Bayern Munich, paid a visit to the Audi stall at the 11th International Auto Expo in New Delhi on Monday (January 10), ahead of their friendly ties with India.
The players posed with the latest automobiles from the carmaker, which sponsors them. Team members Thomas Mueller and Mario Gomez were the most gregarious, signing autographs for gregarious fans.
In India for the Audi Football Summit, Bayern Munich would hopefully replicate their 13-0 drubbing of Qatari club Al Sailiya.
The match between one of the soccer world's top clubs and an international team ranked 162 by the sport's governing body FIFA, would be the last game for Indian superstar Baichung Bhutia in the national jersey.
The proceeds from the game would go to victims of the September 2011 earthquake that rocked the northeast Indian state of Sikkim. - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
