- Story Text: "Nora darling, mummy's here. Love, I know you are there". This is the recording Malaysian search and rescue team played on Friday (August 9) to look for Nora Anne Quoirin in the dense forest reserve, nearly one week after the Irish teen was reported missing.
As the search entered it's almost one-week mark, the search team has not found any clue on where the 15-year-old could be. Some local indigenous people told Malaysian media that they believed she is not in the area anymore.
Search area was once again expanded on Thursday (August 8) with more than 200 people sweeping the area near the resort where Quoirin and her family stayed.
Quoirin was reported missing on Sunday (August 4), a day after her family had arrived at the Dusun resort in Seremban, a town about 70 km (44 miles) south of Malaysia's capital of Kuala Lumpur. Police said they found several fingerprints in the hotel room where she was last seen, without elaborating on who they belonged to.
