- Story Text: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau jogged up a hill at the G7 summit venue in the French coastal resort of Biarritz as the meeting wrapped up on Monday (August 26).
It's not the first time the cameras have caught the Canadian leader outpacing his bodyguards.
Early on Monday, an Australian television crew filmed hiim running.
On Sunday (August 25), an aide to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the leader had plunged into the waters off Biarritz flanked by French soldiers and with Britain's ambassador to France, Ed Llewellyn, in tow.
The leaders of the world's major industrialised nations ended their annual meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump offering an olive branch to China, and opened the door to diplomacy with Iran, easing tensions on a strained G7 summit.
