- Story Text: A giant inflatable blimp depicting U.S. President Donald Trump as an orange, nappy-wearing baby was inflated in Copenhagen on Monday (September 2), despite the president cancelling his trip to the country two weeks ago.
Trump called off his visit to Denmark, which was due to start on Monday, after Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said the idea of selling Greenland to the United States was absurd.
The six-meter (20-foot) high blimp was inflated at King's New Square in central Copenhagen where it will fly until the evening. It has previously flown in London during Trump's visits there.
Trump had been due to discuss the Arctic in meetings in Copenhagen with Frederiksen and Prime Minister Kim Kielsen of Greenland.
