- Story Text:Around 60,000 people gathered in Bern on Saturday (September 28) to demand the Swiss government to make real changes in its climate policy.
Switzerland will vote on October 20 to elect parliament representatives and, according to a Swiss television survey, Green parties are expected to rise and gain more seats than in previous elections.
Protesters marched the streets of Bern chanting and holding signs including "there is no planet B" and "it's late, but not too late".
Protesters, from everywhere in Switzerland, were asking for a climate justice and many hope for policies change after the October 20 elections.
The Swiss climate association, "Alliance climatique" and other groups organised the demonstration which took place a day after the latest round of marches by millions of children around the world.
