- Story Text: Wounded Afghan voters were being treated at a hospital in Kandahar on Saturday (September 28) after an explosion occurred near a polling station.
The blast happened just an hour after voters began queuing to cast their vote to elect a new president.
A senior provincial government official said 14 people were injured in the blast and were transferred to hospital for treatments.
No militant group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
