- Story Text: Greenpeace activists on Monday formed a human chain, blocking the entrances of the House of German Economic Institutes in Berlin.
"High-ranking German industry representatives are meeting here today who want nothing else from the Mercosur deal than to sell cars which damage the climate. The counter deal foresees importing even more soy products and beef that are harmful to the climate. So it's climate crime for climate crime and I don't want to tolerate that," one of the activists Viola Wohlgemuth said from outside the premises.
The Greenpeace boat Beluga was also underway on the Spree as activists demonstrated against Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. - Copyright Holder: FILE REUTERS (CAN SELL)
