- Story Text: Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris left his team's game against Brighton on Saturday (October 5) in agony as he appeared to break his left arm while conceding a goal early in the match.
Lloris rose up to catch a cross but couldn't keep hold of the ball on his line, gifting Brighton striker Neal Maupay a tap in to open the scoring. The French national landed awkwardly on his left arm with replays showing what appears to be a snap in his left elbow.
The goalkeeper then screamed in agony as medics treated him inside his goal before taking him off on a stretcher. There was no immediate report of the injury's severity and how long it will rule out Lloris from match action. - Copyright Holder: FILE REUTERS (CAN SELL)
