We know that we beat Estonia 8-0 at home. But it's not a sure thing. Because one needs to be prepared for those teams that have done rather well lately and find chances. We must not lose any more points in our group, that is clear. So, I expect the team to take the match tomorrow very seriously, and I've seen that already in our talks and during the training." I'm the oldest in both teams, with 33 years. It is very exciting to get to know the young guys, the new generation. It is also a great motivation, to see how they approach the issue, and of course as a more experienced player you try to help and show them how to take on responsibility. That is very important for them. But they are all top guys, very motivated and hungry. And that is very important, that hunger for success." - Story Text: Germany coach Joachim Loew said that his side must not lose any more points as they prepare to face Estonia in their Euro 2020 qualifying match in Tallinn on Sunday (October 13).
Germany and the Netherlands are both at the top of Group C with 12 points, but the Germans are in second due to the Dutch having a better head-to-head record. Northern Ireland are close behind in third place with 12 points but trail on goal difference.
Even though Germany beat Estonia 8-0 in June, Loew wants his team to avoid complacency and take their opponents seriously.
Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is expected to return to the squad as well as midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and attacking midfielder Marco Reus.
Estonia, who are last in the group, hope that they can produce a surprise win at home.
