- Story Text: Tens of thousands of people gathered in London on Saturday (October 19) to demand a new referendum while lawmakers decided the fate of Britain's departure from the European Union.
Protesters waving EU flags and carrying signs calling for Brexit gathered at London's Park Lane before a march through the centre of the capital to parliament.
More than 170 buses from around Britain brought protesters to the event, where protesters in favour of Brexit have also gathered.
The pro-EU march was arranged by the organisers behind the "People's Vote" campaign who say the UK should be able to vote on whether they are happy with the Brexit terms negotiated by the Prime Minister.
