So, I think we've improved but they've improved as well. I don't think we can take a lot from what happened in Autumn. You know, they were missing a few, we were missing a few, and I think both sides have improved since then, and, it's a whole different situation. So, we look to get better again this week individually and and a group and then give it everything on Saturday." JOURNALIST, HATLEY AND COWEN-DICKIE AT NEWS CONFERENCE (SOUNDBITE) (English) ENGLAND SCRUM COACH NEAL HATLEY SAYING: "We've got certain things that we'll l want to do in that first 15, 20 minutes and we need to focus on - what we do right, then hopefully we'll replicate the same start." CAMERA OPERATOR AT NEWS CONFERENCE (SOUNDBITE) (English) ENGLAND SCRUM COACH NEAL HATLEY SAYING: "Some sides are really solid set piece and other sides are more attack and play. I think, they've got a pretty all-rounded game. You know, their set piece is strong. Their transition game's strong. You saw against Ireland, they defend exceptionally well with a lot of intent. You know, Eddie talked about it yesterday. They've got a proud win record for a good reason. I don't think there's any one area that they're brilliant in. But, they're very good across a lot of areas. Most of the areas." JOURNALIST, HATLEY AND COWEN-DICKIE AT NEWS CONFERENCE (SOUNDBITE) (English) ENGLAND HOOKER, LUKE COWAN-DICKIE SAYING: "You know, their record's good. They do win quite a few games, so you've got to be excited. We are just going to get into training this week, work on a few things and yeah, come weekend, we'll be ready to go." - Story Text: England said on Monday (October 21) they are ready "to give it everything" when they take on the All Blacks in the World Cup semi-final after Saturday's (October 19) crushing 40-16 win over Australia.
Two tries in three first-half minutes by winger Jonny May helped Eddie Jones' side underline their World Cup credentials and gain a measure of revenge over the Wallabies who sent them packing from their own tournament four years ago.
Despite facing a daunting task against the All Blacks, who also advanced with a 46-14 demolition of Ireland, Hatley says England have certain things they plan to do in the first fifteen to twenty minutes, and that's their focus.
England understand the three-times champions have a good all rounded game, but come Saturday's big match, they'll be ready to go.
