During the game we have to give everything and play to the maximum of our possibilities and not have regrets at the end of the games. I only ask for this. This is the most important thing for us. You know very well, this is a very difficult tournament and we are trying to start a path in the Champions League even at the level of experience, since at the experience level in Europe, we don't have a lot. It is a path and, as I said, let's play the game, we must not have regrets at the end of the game because I would be sorry for myself and my players too." NEWS CONFERENCE IN PROGRESS CONTE LOOKING ON BROZOVIC LOOKING ON (SOUNDBITE) (Italian) INTER MILAN COACH, ANTONIO CONTE, SAYING: "I think that even if Borussia Dortmund lack some players, they have others. I don't like talking about my absences, but I don't even want to hear about absences of other teams, otherwise we always see the glass half full on the other side. We think of ourselves and try to make a good game. We will work today because, I repeat, we have only one day to prepare for this game so we will have to be very careful. They are very good at countering in the open field, if you lose dangerous balls they are very good at taking advantage of it because they have fast and skilled players who are very strong in the open field. In my opinion, we should be good at avoiding this kind of situation. You know what our idea is, we want to propose our idea in the possession phase, we have to open ourselves, there are predetermined positions of the players and we know very well that therefore we must also take some risks. Our team is not able to wait and make remittance matches. We are a team that wants to impose its idea of football and take some risks, which happened against Sassuolo, when in our phase of possession we got things wrong, lost the ball and gave up three goals." - Story Text: Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte on Tuesday (October 22) said Inter will fight against Borussia Dortmund so as "not to have regrets" with their Champions League campaign hanging in the balance.
Speaking during a news conference on the eve of Inter's third Champions League group match against Lucien Favre's side, Conte said his team will give everything after a largely positive display in Barcelona last month in which they still lost 2-1.
Borussia Dortmund's key players Marco Reus and Paco Alcacer are both out with injuries but Conte warned his side against the dangers of the German team.
"I don't like talking about my absences, but I don't even want to hear about absences of other teams, otherwise we always see the glass half full on the other side", he said.
The Nerazzurri are third in Group F, with Slavia Prague on one point and Barcelona on top with four points with Dortmund.
