- Story Text: The WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck weighed in for his title defense on Thursday (August 13).
The 199-pound (90.2 kg) German will put his title and 38-2-1 record (26 KOs) on the line against undefeated Polish contender Krzyzstof Glowacki (24-0, 15 KOs) on Friday night at the Prudential Arena in Newark, New Jersey.
"I always think I will come out the best, regardless of me being a southpaw. I'm going to win and the same goes for the fight tomorrow, I will win," said the 198-pound (89.8 kg) Glowacki.
"It's going to be a beautiful boxing style, clean boxing, something that will make you guys all happy."
The WBO title fight will co-headline the main event promoted by the upstart Premier Boxing Champions.
The other fight will feature heavyweights Antonio Tarver (31-6, 22 KOs) and Steve Cunningham (28-7, 13 KOs). Tarver is best known for playing heavyweight champ Mason "The Line" Dixon in the final installment of Sylvester Stallone's "Rocky Balboa" in 2006. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
