  • Story Text: A meeting between French and Malaysian investigators was underway in Paris on Monday (August 3) as experts moved to determine if plane parts recovered on the French island of Reunion belonged to missing passenger jet MH370.
    Some members of the Malaysian delegation which included civil aviation experts and a judge were seen waiting outside a meeting room in Paris's main courthouse.
    French prosecutors said on Friday that they would also be joined by members of France's own aviation safety authority the Bureau d'enquetes et d'analyses (the Bureau of Investigation and Analysis).
    France opened a judicial enquiry on May 7, 2014 for involuntary homicide after the crash of MH370 which disappeared on March 8 during a scheduled flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
    Four French nationals were on board the plane which has never been recovered.
    Analysis of a section of wing washed up on Reunion in the Indian Ocean is set to begin in the southern French city of Toulouse on Wednesday.
