- Story Text: A half marathon in the west of England went ahead on Sunday (March 15) despite the coronavirus emergency.
Organisers of the event in Bath denied they were being irresponsible by pressing ahead and said 6,200 runners took part - about half the usual number - the BBC reported.
Andrew Taylor, director of the Bath half said he had not received any advice from public health officials not to go ahead, the BBC added.
