Story Text: This church in the Mexican city of Monterrey took the message of God out to the streets on Monday (March 23), with faithful staying away from traditional mass amidst coronavirus fears.
Mexico has suspended large public and private gatherings for a month as it attempts to contain the spread of coronavirus. So, this priest decided to take to the streets, walking amongst homes to bless faithful and join worshippers in prayer. Those who follow him are careful to keep a 1.5-metre distance as recommended.
Mexico so far has just 367 cases and four deaths but is bracing for a fast rise in infections in the coming weeks.
