  • Story Text: Designer Ralph Lauren presented his Polo collection for the modern man on the last day of New York Fashion Week Mens.
    The American fashion house invited press into its Manhattan headquarters to view its Spring 2016 line on Thursday (July 16) which was displayed in six different groupings.
    Tan, grey and navy suits will keep the Polo man cool with lightweight fabrics. The brand highlighted the return of its double-breasted cut which was found on business and evening attire.
    Casual looks mixed hoodies, ties, sport coats and the line's signature blue jean shirts.
    A three piece blue jean suit highlights the designers varied use of denim.
    Weekend wear allows the Polo customer to dress down in style. A bright red "fireman's jacket has been seam-sealed for waterproofing and outfitted with metal closures and brown leather buckles." Plaid with a blue base was paired with a mix of textures and colors.
    Lauren keep California's Sierra Nevada Mountains in mind as he designed the 'rugged' looks of the line. Faded blue jeans, shirts and jackets offered the line its relaxed look.
    Camouflage pants and jackets were paired with pops of orange and black and balanced out the sportswear items.
    Accessories were also key with several outfits being paired with sunglasses, the brands signature loafers and belts.
    Long time Polo Ralph Lauren model Tyson Beckford and singer Cody Simpson were on hand to view the new collection.
