Muslims in Yemen and Iran took to the streets in rallies to mark the annual pro-Palestinian "Quds Day" on Friday (July 10).
The annual event is held on the last Friday of Ramadan and was first initiated in Iran in 1979 to express solidarity with Palestinian people but today is held throughout the Muslim world.
In Yemen, Houthi supporters took to the street with Palestine flags, chanting slogans.
Houthi leader Dhaifallah al-Shami said: "Yemen today, despite the tragedies and the hurt, has come out in force amidst the rubble and beneath the warplanes that have bombed, destroyed and killed the sons of this Yemeni nation, to say that our principle cause will not be forgotten and it's the cause of holy Jerusalem." - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
