A capacity crowd of over 50,000 are expected at the stadium for the tournament finale and most of those will be flag waving, face painted Americans who have arrived in Canada to support the team which is a favorite to win the championship.
"Oh man! The energy is great here, it's amazing, it's for the Women's World Cup. USA vs Japan. We're just excited right now. Four years ago we lost to Japan and this year we're going to take the World Cup", Jimmy Gonzalez of Los Angeles said.
"Of course Japan wins! Absolutely. Score? I think 2-0. Japan wins!," Asuka Fujimoto insisted alongside two friends decked out in glitter and ballerina tutus.
10 year-old Lucas Sailors waiting in line to enter the stadium predicted a U.S. victory but not without a struggle.
"Zero-zero at the half. I feel like USA will get a goal and Japan will get a goal and it may go to overtime. You never know though."
