- Story Text: Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid and British ambassador Hamish Cowell laid wreaths on Friday (July 3) at the Sousse site where 38 foreigners were gunned down last week.
Along with dozens of tourists and residents, they held a minute's silence on the beach to remember the victims of the gun attack.
People gathered at the spot where 38 foreign tourists were killed on June 26 by an Islamist gunman.
British tourist Diana was planning to go to the beach that day.
"Had we have been ten minutes earlier, we would've been on the beach. Maybe we would be dead too. But we are alive, so we come. These people, they never had a chance," she said as she attended the silence.
