  • Story Text: Actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger presented the winner of the Pro Fitness bodybuilding competition at the Arnold Classic Brazil 2015, Egypt's Mamdouh Elssbiay, at the close of the bodybuilding competition in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (May 30).
    Elssbiay, who is known in the bodybuilding world simply as Big Ramy, was selected by judges over nine other bodybuilding athletes from around the world.
    Schwarzenegger, a former bodybuilding champ who the event is named for, was at the competition to present the winner with his prize.
    "The sport of bodybuilding and fitness is growing fast every year and it is wonderful to watch that because 45 years ago I started the bodybuilding and fitness crusade, so it is wonderful to see the tremendous success, not only in Brazil, but all over the world. So I want to say thank you," Schwarzenegger said.
    The bulging competitors flexed their muscles on the stage in front of a packed crowd at Rio de Janeiro's Rio Centro.
    But in the end it was Big Ramy who sealed the deal and took the crown at the biggest bodybuilding competition in Brazil.
    "It is wonderful to be back her again in Brazil and I always leave the stage saying, 'I'll be back.' Thank you very much," Schwarzenegger said.
    The actor took the stage to give Big Ramy his trophy and don him with a gold medal.
    The Arnold Classic Brazil runs from May 29 to 31 and features dozens of sports including mixed martial arts, arm wrestling and even pole dancing competitions.
    The main event is the bodybuilding competitions which drew hundreds of spectators Saturday night.
