- Story Text: The King and Queen of Spain, Felipe VI and Letizia, visited the Elysee presidential palace on Tuesday (June 2) as they resumed an official state visit that was cut short by the deadly Germanwings plane crash in March.
The royal couple are expected to continue their state visit to the French capital with a visit of a Velazquez exhibition at the Grand Palais museum and an official dinner at the Elysee palace Tuesday night.
Felipe will also present an award to emergency officials who worked to clear the debris from the crash of the Germanwings Airbus A320 in the French Alps.
