  • Story Text: Juventus fans started gathering ahead of the Champions League final against Barcelona in Berlin, Germany on Saturday (June 6) where soccer devotees chanted "Juve, Juve" and drank beer in the city's eastern Alexanderplatz square.
    Temperatures of around 30 degrees Celsius (86F) did not deter the Italian fans and their supporters from singing soccer songs while consuming famed German beer.
    "If Messi is not feeling well tonight, if he is ill, we will win," said one fan who got into the soccer spirit at an open air festival at Berlin's landmark Brandenburg Gate.
    Another Juventus fan predicted a 5-0 loss for his team, saying "Barcelona is too strong, too strong."
    Juventus did not expect to reach the Champions League final and despite being underdogs on Saturday against Barcelona, the Italian champions are hopeful of causing an upset, according to captain Gianluigi Buffon and coach Massimiliano Allegri.
    One match away from winning their first ever treble after their domestic league and Cup double, Juventus face their biggest challenge this season when they take on the in-form Spaniards, who are chasing their second trio of titles after 2009.
