- Story Text: British supermodel Kate Moss was greeted by police at Luton Airport on Sunday (June 7) following allegations that she had been disruptive onboard an easyJet flight.
The fashion star was returning to England after a holiday in Turkey with actress Sadie Frost.
A spokesperson for Bedfordshire police confirmed they were called to "assist staff in escorting a passenger from a flight arriving into Luton airport" because the passenger "had been reported as being disruptive". They added that "no formal complaints were made against her and she was not arrested".
In a statement, easyJet said police did meet flight EZY2232 from Bodrum "due to the behaviour of a passenger onboard". The airline said it does not tolerate disruptive behaviour and will always report any incidents to the authorities.
41-year-old Moss has graced countless magazine covers and walked dozens of catwalks around the world during her career. She has also taken to designing clothes and launched her first Topshop collection in 2007 to much fanfare. - Copyright Holder: FILE REUTERS (CAN SELL)
