- Story Text: Canadian singer Justin Bieber headlined a Calvin Klein party in Hong Kong on Thursday (June 11).
The invitation-only event to celebrate the Calvin Klein Jeans brand was held at the massive Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a former airport that has been repurposed into an industrial cargo cruise terminal.
The 30-time platinum-seller walked the red carpet and lifted up his shirt to display his Calvin Klein underwear but did not speak to the press.
Around 30 screaming, mainly young, female fans stood outside the venue holding banners.
"He teaches us to Never Say Never and to Believe. And (I like) his attitude to his haters. He wants to prove himself and show them he's good," said 18-year-old fan Bella Leung.
Another fan said the troublemaker, who has been in numerous run-ins with the police in recent months, had an altruistic side.
"I like that he's very talented and he sings very well. And he has a very good heart. He always helps poor people and children," said 16-year-old Bella Yu.
In addition to his unannounced performance, the event featured a special appearance by American model and social media star Kendall Jenner, as well as a performance by Korean-American musician Jay Park, and DJ sets by creative influencers Verbal and Yoon from Japan, and Hong Kong's Kevin Poon. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
