- Story Text: A series of strokes and taps can share a thought between visually impaired Palestinian baker Mohammed and his hearing impaired brother Nour.
They communicate through tactile sign language; using hand and arm gestures to run their bakery in the West Bank village of Deir Ballout, near Ramallah.
The two brothers love their routine and handle many parts of their lives independently, including making bread and other baked goods on a daily basis for their loyal customers.
"We love what we do, it's so good," Mohammed said.
The brothers and business partners were born with their disabilities, having parents and grandparents both related by blood.
Their father taught them how to bake and helped them open the small bakery which they hope can grow.
"We dream that this bakery can grow and develop so we won't need to rely on others. If someone can help us in developing it; we welcome this."
