- Story Text: Protesters and ecologic organizations protested against a seismic exploration and oil project in Buenos Aires on Friday (July 16).
Ecologists claim they are worried this project might pollute the Argentinean sea and affect the marine life.
"We are against prioritizing the earnings of companies such as Equinor, a Norwegian multinational company over our future", said protester Federico Winkour.
During the term of former President Mauricio Macri, the government started handing permissions to companies so they could operate in the Argentinean sea and search for oil and gas until the year 2025.
