I also want parkour to be widespread, I'm thankfully one of those who founded parkour in Egypt. As for Ninjutsu, I mostly train army and police personnel as those are the ones who protect the country. I can't train anyone on Ninja because there are weapons and some very dangerous techniques that I cannot teach to just anyone." I wish they stop smoking and doing other things that harm their health, I really wish that young people stay safe. As long as the youth are fine, Egypt is fine because the youth are the ones who take care of the country." - Story Text: Thousands of miles away from the home of Ninjutsu martial arts in Japan, a ninja lover and trainer is performing fascinating moves and tricks, this time in the green fields of Egypt's Nile Delta city of Zagazig.
Clad in a Ninja's traditional dark garb, the Egyptian trainer Abdel Qader Ahmed, also known as Abouda Ninja, made his childhood dream a reality. Like many children worldwide, now 45-year-old Abouda was glued to the TV screen watching the Ninja Turtles as a young boy.
Relating to its characters Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo, and Michelangelo, Abouda dreamed of mastering a martial art, so he started playing Karate, Kung fu, and parkour.
When he travelled to Libya to work in 1999, he met a personal trainer who while there finally introduced him to the world of professional Ninjutsu.
Upon returning to Egypt in 2011, he started teaching both parkour and Ninjutsu to enthusiasts, while making his own swords which he ensures are used only for training purposes.
Abouda Ninja also trains young civilians in parkour and breakdancing and still spends most of his time outdoors with his swords, practicing the sport he loves.
