Because still, we have 16 million ladies in Afghanistan like my sisters who are abandoned. We have lots of children. We also have lots of men who are working there, who are useful there, who do not support that stupid sharia which the Taliban are talking about. I don't know what is that. I went to Afghanistan in 2002 when the international community entered there, there were 52 countries and at that time we turned on a light with the name of hope. But three days ago, four days ago that hope has vanished. " AHMADI WALKING INTO THE AIRPORT TERMINAL EXTERIOR OF TERMINAL

- Story Text:Several flights from Kabul will arrive in Rome's Fiumicino on Thursday (August 19) carrying some 400 Afghans out of the country as the Italian airlift continues unabated.
The first military plane arrived around midday bringing back 202 Afghans, including a female activist who will eventually join her brother who is already living in Italy.
"Our happiness is only going through half of our body because with half of our body we are dancing but with the other half we are crying," said brother Hamed Ahmadi as he waited to see his sister.
"I went to Afghanistan in 2002 when the international community entered there, there were 52 countries and at that time we turned on a light with the name of hope. But three days ago, four days ago that hope has vanished," he said.
For the moment the Afghans who arrive need to carry out quarantine for Covid-19 at a base outside of Rome and are kept away from the media.
