- Story Text: Russia's President Vladimir Putin met with Jordan's King Abdullah II on the sidelines of the International military-technical forum "Army-2021" at Patriot Congress and Exhibition Centre near Moscow on Monday (August 23).
Speaking to King Abdullah Putin stressed that, despite the coronavirus pandemic, relations between Russia and Jordan were developing steadily.
King Abdullah expressed hope of medical cooperation on vaccine production and thanked Putin for help in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan.
King Abdullah has met Vladimir Putin more than a dozen times since he became monarch in 1999.
