- Title: From body parts to Cuba's unrest, the Estefans cover it all on their new season of Red Table Talk
- Date: 28th September 2021
- Summary: MIAMI, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES (SEPTEMBER 23, 2021) (REUTERS) (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) EMILY ESTEFAN AND LILI ESTEFAN SAYING: LILI: "Especially for me, for example, in the episode we did about divorce, which was the first one to start the season, it was very impactful because, you know, I did it with a lot of care and I tried to do it with love and that it would connect with women that were going through the same. Although, the thing that surprised me the most was the amount of men that came to me." EMILY: "That doesn't surprise me." LILI: "No! It's not for what you are thinking! It was to tell me that they too had gone through the same thing and because of the manner in which I spoke about it, helped many of them to heal." WHITE FLASH (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) EMILY ESTEFAN AND GLORIA ESTEFAN SAYING: GLORIA: "Yes, and for me, those connections we make with the people that are watching the show, not only my fans, that have followed me through decades and always want more from me, but new people that perhaps don't know much about me or know us as a family - that connection where they write saying, "you've helped me have this conversation. I didn't feel so alone. I thought I was the only going through this." And so for me that is the most valuable thing about what we're doing." EMILY: "For me it's all of that, but also, obviously like young people, many messages "you're helping me have these conversations," but also moms and dads as well. They say, "Wow, to have this now that helps me open the door to having this conversation with my son, my daughter, with my aunt. It's a relief."

- Story Text: After a successful debut, "Red Table Talk: The Estefans" is back with 12 new episodes for Facebook Watch on September 30th.
The conversational talk show is hosted by singer Gloria Estefan, her daughter Emily and niece Lili and aims to address topics with a generational approach.
The first season they talked about Lili's divorce, Emily's 'coming out' and other personal trumpihs. This season they hope to merge their personal stories with topical subjects.
"We also looked inward and said, what's going to help? Who's listening?," said Emily.
One of those special stories will include the struggles in Gloria's native country of Cuba.
"We needed to focus on the protests that were happening there, but we've got really unique things that people have not heard. We hear from people directly in Cuba and you hear a lot of personal stories also," said Gloria.
The first episode will feature Clare Crawley, who was the first Latina Bachelorette on a popular U.S. dating reality show. Later in the season the trio will tackle topics including colorism, online bullying and plastic surgery.
The series is a spinoff from actress Jada Pinkett Smith's show that she host with her daughter, Willow and her mother.
