- Title: Mourinho and Klopp voice frustrations over draw

- Summary: MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, UK (JANUARY 15, 2017) (REUTERS) MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGER JOSE MOURINHO ENTERING NEWS CONFERENCE (SOUNDBITE) (English) MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGER JOSE MOURINHO, SAYING: "I think it was a very emotional game, I believe (it was) very entertaining. I believe every player, our players, Liverpool players, they are very tired, because they gave everything they could give until the limit. I didn't watch, but it looks like the referee had a good performance but I think Manchester United can play better than we did, and in spite it not being my problem, I think Liverpool can play better than what they did because I watched them play many times. So I think in terms of quality the game was below the quality of both teams." WHITE FLASH (SOUNDBITE) (English) MANCHESTER UNITED MANAGER JOSE MOURINHO, ASKED WHETHER HE WAS HAPPY WITH THE RESULT, SAYING: "I'm not happy. If it's good or if it's bad, I'm not happy. When you are losing and you score in the last part of the game, I think the team that concedes the goal feels worse than the team that scores, but in the end we lost two points because we were playing for three, and the way they played, I think they are happy with the point, so probably they go happy." WHITE FLASH (SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING: "Yes... I'm fine with the performance. I have to think about two things always after games, especially if number one is performance and then of course the result too. When you see the line-ups, when you see the circumstances, then you would say ok, point at Old Trafford, come on. Take it, go home, don't think about it, well done. Unfortunately it doesn't feel exactly like this and that's because of the performance of my boys. I think 70 minutes minimum, and over the whole game we were the better side. But of course then they came with the long ball or whatever it is, so (with Marouane) Fellaini on the pitch it's difficult. After 75 minutes dominating the game and having all the balls bouncing around the 18 yard box. We made this mistake, I don't know how it exactly happened." WHITE FLASH (SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER JUERGEN KLOPP, BEING ASKED WHAT HE THOUGHT OF UNITED'S EQUALISER AND WHETHER IT WAS OFFSIDE, SAYING: (Reporter: "Have you seen, and I'm not saying you would have seen it at the time, but in the build up to the goal, there was a suggestion that (Antonio) Valencia was offside") "No. Did you see it again?" (Reporter: "I've seen the replay yeah.") "Was it offside?" (Reporter: "Yeah, half a yard.") (Klopp laughing) "Ok, I can say I'm sure it was offside... So actually we won the game against 10 men.")

- Story Text: Zlatan Ibrahimovic delivered his most important goal yet for Manchester United as he sent Old Trafford wild with his 19th of the season in all competitions to salvage a 1-1 draw with their fiercest rivals Liverpool on Sunday (January 15).
James Milner, so often a scourge of United, had silenced the home crowd with a 27th minute penalty as Liverpool seemed to be coasting with relative comfort to a crucial Premier League win until the irrepressible Swede struck with an 84th minute header.
The draw put Liverpool into third spot, level on points with second-placed Tottenham on 45 points, but it leaves Chelsea seven points ahead of the pack after 21 games, while United, who saw the end of their nine-match winning streak, remain sixth with 40 points.
"I think it was a very emotional game, I believe (it was) very entertaining. I believe every player, our players, Liverpool players, they are very tired, because they gave everything they could give until the limit. So I think in terms of quality the game was below the quality of both teams," said Mourinho.
"I'm not happy. If it's good or if it's bad, I'm not happy. When you are losing and you score in the last part of the game, I think the team that concedes the goal feels worse than the team that scores, but in the end we lost two points because we were playing for three, and the way they played, I think they are happy with the point, so probably they go happy," he added.
Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp said his team dominated and deserved more from the game.
"Yes... I'm fine with the performance. I have to think about two things always after games, especially if number one is performance and then of course the result too.
