- Story Text: The streets of New York are dancing with lights as the city celebrates the holidays.
The Fifth Avenue Association has sprinkled nine blocks of holiday inspired art installations. The illuminated sculptures include a taxicab and a toy box.
Manhattan department stores are continuing their tradition of creative and innovative window displays.
This year former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama helped unveil Saks Fifth Avenue's display and ten-story-tall light show. The store is giving back this season by donating $1 million dollars to the Obama Foundation in support of the Girls Opportunity Alliance.
Bloomingdales teamed up with singer Bebe Rexha to debut its "Give Happy" holiday campaign. Six colorful windows can be seen at the brands flagship store on Lexington Avenue.
Luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman is celebrating the holidays with the theme "The Present Moment". The retailer's display depicts frozen moments, from "'Harmonious,' where classical meets pop in a vibrant piano party to 'Euphoric,' which features a mannequin hanging from the moon deep in outer space."
