- Story Text: India dispatched humanitarian assistance consisting of medical supplies on a special flight from New Delhi to Afghanistan on Saturday (December 11).
These medicines will be handed over to representatives of WHO in Kabul and will be administered at Indira Gandhi Children Hospital in the city, as per the Indian foreign ministry.
India on Friday (December 10) brought 10 Indians and 94 Afghan citizens from Kabul to New Delhi through a special flight.
Under "Operation Devi Shakti" a total of 669 people have been evacuated from Afghanistan, since the dreaded militant outfit Taliban entered Kabul on August 15 taking over much of the country, prompting chaotic scenes at the airport as crowds scrambled to escape. - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
