  • Story Text:Heavy rains in Spain's Aragon region left the river Ebro on Monday (December 13) on the verge of bursting its banks as it flows past Zaragoza.
    Following Storm Barra that killed at least one person and caused severe flooding in Navarra, emergency services are monitoring the banks of the river which is threatening to flood large areas of Zaragoza, in the country's north east.
    A school and various sports centres have been closed as authorities fear the river could soon flood them.
