- Story Text:Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi applauds his Danish counterpart, Mette Frederiksen's efforts on the 'Green Strategic Partnership' that both the countries share.
Speaking about the mutual goals of Denmark and India on Tuesday (May 03), Modi mentioned the 'Green Strategic Partnership' that aims at furthering economic and political ties between the two nations and also nurturing budding job opportunities.
"I want to tell our Danish friends to come to India to jointly find answers to the problems of the planet," said Modi while addressing the Indian diaspora in Denmark.
Earlier today, Modi appealed for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, marking the first incident of an outright comment on the Russia-Ukraine violence by India.
India has so far refrained from explicitly condemning Russia's invasion while calling for an immediate end to violence. Moscow calls its actions in Ukraine a "special military operation". - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
