Japan also frequently plays up regional tensions and seeks a breakthrough in its own military power. This move is dangerous. Neighbouring countries in Asia and the international community have had to strongly question whether Japan can maintain an exclusive defence and stick to the path of peaceful development. The Japanese side should seriously reflect on its history of aggression, respect the security concerns of its Asian neighbours, be cautious in its words and deeds in the field of military security, and do more things that are conducive to maintaining regional peace and stability."
