- Summary: Man sentenced over Lady Gaga dog theft - media reports One of the people charged in the violent theft of two bulldogs belonging to pop star Lady Gaga and the shooting of a dog walker has been sentenced to four years in prison, media reports. CNN report that Jaylin White "pleaded no contest to one count of second-degree robbery and admitted to an allegation that a member of the group was armed during the incident," according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. They continue to source the DA's office as confirming other charges against White, one for attempted murder and another for conspiracy to commit robbery, were dismissed. Gaga's French bulldogs were snatched at gunpoint in February 2021 after their dog walker was shot in the chest. They were returned unharmed after the singer offered a $500,000 reward. Meanwhile, one of the other suspects in the case, who was accidentally allowed out of jail, was back behind bars. According to media reports, James Howard Jackson was arrested on August 3 after he was released 'due to a clerical error.' He was one of five people arrested at the time in connection with the incident that happened in Los Angeles.
