There is a path. More of our voters tend to vote during the early period and more of his voters tend to vote on election day. So if you haven't voted, by all means, vote. And if you've already voted, your job still isn't done. Tell everybody in your circle to vote. And I know that it's been a long journey. I know this is my fifth time (laughs). This is the fifth time my name's been on the ballot, so I am fully acquainted with tired. But let me tell you my definition of tired this morning --having to be represented by Herschel Walker for six years. That my friends will be exhausting."     Georgia Democratic U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock made his final pitch to voters on election day Tuesday (December 6) at a rally in Norcross.
    "It's Election Day I want to tell everybody to go out and vote ... We had a historic turnout during the early voting period, but we should not rest on our laurels. The job is not done. The truth is, my opponent could still win this election," Warnock pledged with supporters.
    A Tuesday runoff election in Georgia between the reverend and Republican former football star Herschel Walker will determine whether President Joe Biden's party can expand its razor-thin majority in the Senate.
    The race will also serve as a final test of Donald Trump's clout with midterm election voters as he seeks the Republican nomination to challenge Biden in 2024. The former president had a mixed record in his most competitive endorsements for Congress, including Walker.
    Polls opened at 7 a.m. (1200 GMT) and will close at 7 p.m. (0000 GMT). More than 1.85 million Georgians have already cast a ballot during an early voting period, which closed on Friday, according to the Secretary of State's office.
    The state set multiple single-day records for early voting last week. The early vote is expected to have leaned Democratic, political experts from both parties say.
    It is unclear when the final results will be in. The Georgia secretary of state's office says the timing of the results depends on how quickly counties are able to count the votes. Based on previous recent votes, however, the results will likely be known in the hours after polls close.
