  • Story Text:Indian star cricketer Hardik Pandya said on Monday (January 02) that his biggest New Year resolution was to win the upcoming World Cup.
    "The biggest to win the World Cup and I don't think any bigger resolution can be there. Really want to win the World Cup and which we will try everything possible in our capacity to go out there and give everything and then…I think things are looking bright and let's hope it is," said Pandya while talking to reporters in western Mumbai city.
    Pandya will captain India for their Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
    Recently, India's cricket board (BCCI) had said it will increase its focus on player fitness and consider who have played a substantial domestic season when making selections for the national team, following a review meeting ahead of the 2023 World Cup, which will be held in India in October and November.
