- Story Text:China maintains communication with all parties involved, including Ukraine, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Wednesday (March 29) after an apparent invitation to visit from Ukraine to China.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy extended an invitation to Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit the country in an interview with the Associated Press published Wednesday.
"We are ready to see him here," he told AP.
"But I don't have any specific information on the communication between the leaders at this time," Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said.
