- Date: 2nd August 2023
- Summary: NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES (AUGUST 2, 2023) (REUTERS) VARIOUS OF KURT COBAIN GUITAR ON DISPLAY (SOUNDBITE) (English) LEAD AUCTIONEER, GWS AUCTIONS BRIGITTE KRUSE SAYING: “What we have here is Kurt Cobain's guitar from the 1980s. He actually scribed the word sick into it. And if you look very closely off the ‘k’, you can see that there is a C. He signed it on the back with a peace sign as well.†MORE OF COBAIN GUITAR (SOUNDBITE) (English) LEAD AUCTIONEER, GWS AUCTIONS BRIGITTE KRUSE SAYING: “The top lot and I think it's probably a little bit of bias because I love Nirvana so much, but I think it's the Kurt Cobain guitar. I think we are going to see some great activity on that guitar. I would expect again, and we've seen the acoustic sell anywhere between $50,000 and $150,000 (USD). But the one from ‘Unplugged’, which it's the ‘Unplugged’ guitar, of course, you know, that one's going to reach the high heavens. I would expect this one to probably fall in the couple of hundred thousand range conservatively.†PICTURE DRAWN BY COBAIN

The domain can not be used for e-commerce and is conservatively estimated at $100,000 (USD).
