  • Story Text: Ronaldo declared himself happy with his return to
    competitive soccer after 17 months out of the game with an
    injured knee.



    After coming on for the last 28 minutes of Inter's 3-0
    UEFA Cup win over Brasov of Romania,
    he says he's eager to return to regular action...and even
    wants to be considered for the national team.

    The 24-year-old Brazilian star has been out of action
    since the Italian Cup Final on April 12, 2000 when he ruptured
    knee ligaments, requiring surgery.

    Speaking at Inter's Appiano Gentile training ground, he
    said: " I'm really happy with the 30 minutes I played
    yesterday. Its just the start. There is a lot of enthusiasm
    about my comeback but I need to keep my feet on the ground
    because I know
    I'm not in the best of condition.

    " We have made a step forward. From now on I want to think
